LUXplan privacy policy

Last updated 15 September 2026

LUXplan is a floor plan and site plan app made by Luxengine Pty Ltd, an Australian company ("LUXengine", "we", "us"). This policy covers the LUXplan app for iPad and LUXplan on the web at plan.luxengine.com. It says what LUXplan collects, why, who else handles it, how long it is kept, and how to delete it. For anything else LUXengine does, see luxengine.com/privacy.

We do not sell your information, show ads, or track you across other apps and websites. LUXplan does not use your device's location.

Your account

You can use LUXplan without an account. If you sign in with Apple, we receive Apple's identifier for you, the name you give, and your email address if you choose to share it (this may be an Apple private relay address). We use them to keep your purchases with you, to show your name in the app, and to email your plans to you when you ask.

A signed-in iPad keeps a session with us that ends 90 days after you sign in, or when you sign out.

Purchases

Purchases are made through Apple. Apple tells us the transaction number, what was bought and when, so we know which plans you have paid for. We never receive your card or payment details.

Your plans

Your drawings are saved on your iPad. They are sent to our servers only when you use something that needs them:

Addresses, photos of plans and scans

Improving the plan reader

When you finish a plan that LUXplan read for you, the app sends us the walls, doors, windows, fittings and room names as they were read and as you finished them, so we can measure and fix what the reader got wrong. It contains no photo, no aerial image, no address and no name or email.

Where your information is handled

Our servers and service providers are Netlify (hosting and storage), Google Cloud (LUXbrand), Google Maps Platform, Serper, Anthropic and Resend. Some of them store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We send each of them only what it needs to do its part of running LUXplan.

Like any website, our servers see your internet address when the app talks to them. It is used to stop abuse, such as too many requests from one place, and is not stored with your account. Our servers' logs, which can include an address you searched for, are kept by Netlify for a short time for fixing faults.

Deleting your account

In the LUXplan app, sign in, then tap Delete account beside your name on the address screen. This deletes your account, your name and email, your sessions, any exports you have not used and your walk-up pages, clears the plans saved on that iPad, and asks Apple to end LUXplan's use of your Apple sign-in. You confirm it with Apple first. It cannot be undone.

Records of purchases are kept for tax and refund purposes, with your account, name and email removed from them.

You can also ask us to delete your information, or to see or correct what we hold about you, by emailing hello@luxengine.com.

Children

LUXplan is a tool for property professionals and is not directed at children.

Questions and complaints

Email hello@luxengine.com. We handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and a change to what LUXplan collects is also listed in the release notes.
